How we make money

The Credit Zone is funded in part by clearly-labelled sponsored partnerships, such as IWGT for cashing out crypto to AED. We take no affiliate commissions, paid rankings or lead-generation fees, and sponsorship never influences our editorial content, ratings or accuracy.

Our commercial relationships

The Credit Zone features clearly-labelled sponsored partners. A sponsored partner pays to appear on the site; the payment buys visibility, not editorial coverage or favourable treatment.

Our current sponsored partner is IWGT, an over-the-counter (OTC) desk in the UAE that buys cryptocurrency for AED. Wherever it appears, it sits inside a box labelled “Sponsored” and every link to it carries rel="sponsored".

We still do not take any of the following:

  • affiliate links, or payments for clicks, applications or approvals;
  • paid placements, rankings or “featured” products in our editorial content;
  • lead forms, or sales of readers' details to lenders or brokers;
  • payment from any partner to write, review or approve our guides.

No lender, sponsor or provider writes, reviews or approves our guides, and sponsorship never changes a figure, a rule, a calculator result, a rating or the order in which we explain options.

How we handle sponsorship

These commitments apply to every commercial relationship on the site, now and in future:

  1. This page changes first. We will list every type of income here, with the date it started, before it appears on the site.
  2. Labels where it appears. Adverts, sponsored content and commercial links will be labelled clearly next to the content, not only in a footnote.
  3. Editorial content stays separate. Commercial partners will not write, review or approve our guides, and will not choose which topics we cover.
  4. Facts are not for sale. No payment will change a figure, a rule, a calculator result or the order in which we explain options.

What this means for you

Our guides explain how credit works and what the rules say; they do not push you towards a product. The standards behind them are in our editorial policy. You can read more about us, and our disclaimer explains the limits of general information.
